After the massacre of Jewish Families living in Southern Israel that took place on the 7th of October last year, an article was posted in this website under the above title.
But the ‘conflict’ had dragged on for more than 10 months now. Though the relatives and friends of more than 100 remaining hostages keep on agitating for everyone concerned, including the Israeli Government to do their best to bring them home, no one seems to know how many of them are still alive even.
As is their custom, Israelis would do whatever they can even to get the corpses of those that had been killed or murdered.
Apart from the obvious question of “How many could still be alive, inclusive of the 2 Brothers Ariel and Kfir Bibas, who were 4 years and 10 months old respectively, when they were kidnapped along with their mother?” many other significant questions linger.
For how long will this ‘war’ drag on? What would its affect be upon the economy of the country ultimately? Will Iran attack Israel directly? Will there be a ‘regional war’? Will Israel get ‘wiped out of the map’? Or will super powers like America and Russia also get involved directly? etc.
Hence it seemed appropriate to do this sequel to the article of 14th October 2023.
One very important FACT seems to be establishing itself quite strongly in this conflict. That is “Whatever human beings, including leaders of nations or organizations plan, those plans do NOT run according to their schedules”.
Most of the leaders on every side, including those in the government and in the security establishment of Israel would have imagined that they could have brought about the ‘end of this conflict’ much earlier. Those who try to bring in a ‘ceasefire’ or at least a ‘temporary halt’, would have thought, they could do so much sooner.
But this conflict seems to drag on without an end in sight, regardless of the incessant rhetoric.
Hence more questions arise such as, “Does anyone know what the outcome could be” and if so “when would that be?”
And MOST importantly, “Has GOD Said anything about this in the Bible?”
That last one is actually the most relevant question.
GOD is reputed to be “Omniscient”. Moreover HE Himself has Stated in Isaiah 46:10 that HE “Declares the END at the beginning”.
In the previous article of 14\10\2023 the Relevant Scripture Portions were quoted. But here would like to quote additional Scriptures from the Book of Amos Chapter 1. “But I will send fire on the wall of Tyre which shall devour [eat up] the palaces thereof” [Verse 10].
That is precisely what Zechariah also stated 270 years or so later, as per 9:4 of his Book, which was quoted in the previous article.
As per both those Prophets, the current conflict involving both Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Tyre, in modern Lebanon will end, ONLY WHEN the arsenal of Hezbollah in Tyre gets “eaten up” (as per the original language”) by fire.
Quite interestingly Amos 1:6 states regarding Gaza, “they carried away captive the whole captivity”. That is how KJV translates it, but the original language gives the picture of “Shamelessly taking away or ‘exiling’, “friendly or peaceable” captives.
That seems to ACCURATELY describe the “Hostages that were taken captive”. Most of the residents who used to dwell in those “Kibbutzim” (Housing schemes) were ‘politically inclined towards making peace at any cost’ and hence belonged to Israeli Movements like “Peace Now”. They used to take ‘Palestinian residents from Gaza’ to hospitals in Israel in their vehicles, when those Palestinians needed medical attention. They treated ‘Gazans’ as friendly neighbours.
Many of them were ‘bending backwards’ to accommodate ‘Gazans’. Hence when Amos 1:6 states “Those from Gaza took ‘friendly or peaceable’ ones captive”, one can be amazed at “How accurate can the Scriptures really be”.
As per Zechariah 9:5, the current conflict WILL END as a result of Tyre, in modern Lebanon being ‘eaten up with fire’.
That Verse also states “SEEING it, meaning ‘what happens in Lebanon’, Gaza and its surrounding cities will ‘fear and writhe’ in agony and the ‘king\ruler of Gaza’ will “Wander away or lose himself”.
Two specific things that seem to be indicated in that Verse happen to be; 1) The Current conflict will end WHEN the arsenal that Hezbollah has stored up in Tyre in Lebanon is extinguished by fire and 2) the ‘current ruler’, obviously Yahya Sinwar will NOT be captured or ‘eliminated’ by Israeli forces, but simply ‘disappear’.
Whether he will be killed by his own people or whether he will escape into Egypt through the tunnels or masquerading as a civilian, possibly dressed up as a ‘woman’ and then vanish, we do NOT know.
Of the questions stated at the beginning of this article, THAT is how the ‘First One’ could be answered, according to Scripture.
Regarding the others; Iran will NOT attack Israel directly, all by itself or along with its proxies yet. Hence this will NOT develop into a ‘Regional war’ either yet.
Israel will NEVER get ‘wiped out of the map AT ALL and USA and Russia will NOT get involved directly.
BUT the possibility remains of some form of a weapon being fired by one of the ‘American carriers’ that are in the Mediterranean causing ‘Tyre to be burnt up’ or one of their planes, even accidently, dropping a bomb in the area (Tyre) those arms and ammunition are stored up.
As indicated by the ‘yets’ above, a ‘Regional War’ WILL take place, possibly quite soon afterwards as Isaiah 29:1 – 3 indicates, in order to humble Israel. The current Leadership is still boasting about ‘their capabilities’, without a single mention about GOD. As the last part of Verse 3 Referred to above states, “Brought LOW they will CRY UNTO GOD”, which most probably is the “Prayer in Psalms 83”.
