Even primitive people have worshipped some supernatural beings or even mountains, trees and other objects, down the centuries. Most times it had been to gain some favour or protection. At times also to appease the ‘deities’, for fear of vengeance.
These ‘ways’ of men trying to ‘Reach out to GOD or gods’ are called ‘religions’.
THAT word is NOT there in the Bible in the original languages.
Even in the translations, one cannot find the word ‘religion’ in the Section Christians call the “Old Testament Scriptures”.
NEITHER can it be found in ANY of the Gospels as CHRIST NEVER used THAT WORD. HE only Called People into a RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM “COME UNTO ME….” [ Matthew 11:28]. Angel Gabriel did NOT tell Miriam (Mary) that The PERSON Coming into her womb, would start a ‘new religion’ or even a ‘movement’.
All he said was that “GOD would Give Him the ‘Throne of David’, for HIM to SIT upon it and RULE OVER the ‘House of Jacob’, forever” – Luke 1:32 & 33.
In the Section called the “New Testament Scriptures”, one may find the word ‘religion’ 4 or 5 times in various English translations. The Greek words so translated really mean ‘superstition, observance or piety’, which is borne out by the fact that other languages do NOT have the equivalent of the word ‘religion’, in those Verses, in their translations.
Man was made out of the ‘Dust of the earth’. Hence the ‘Coming Religious Leader of the entire world’ is depicted as “Emerging from the earth” in the last Book of the Bible called Revelations in Chapter 13 Verse 11.
Before proceeding, we NEED TO get acquainted with one more important FACT:
Do ‘Farm or Domestic Sheep’ have horns?
Generally domestic sheep have NO horns and hence are called “polled”. There are other breeds that DO have horns.
Whether a ‘sheep’ has horns or not depends on its ‘breed’ and sometimes whether it is male or female too. There are some breeds in which both rams and ewes have horns, but there are other breeds that are called “Polled”, as stated above in which neither rams nor ewes grow horns.
Most horned breeds have a single pair of horns.
‘Thin horn Sheep (Ovis Dalli)’ are so-called because they have long, thin sharp-pointed horns. 
‘Bighorn sheep’ are named for the large, curved horns borne by the rams (males). Ewes (females) of this breed also have horns, but they are shorter with less curvature.
Generally sheep have a single pair of horns. But many in the breed known as Jacob sheep have two or three sets of horns also. Usually female ones have smaller and more delicate horns than the males.
NOW we come to the MOST RELEVANT question:-
DO “LAMBS” HAVE ‘HORNS’?
“LAMBS” DO NOT have horns, though in some breeds the ADULT ‘Sheep’ have horns, as stated above.
Some may wonder ‘what’ exactly is the difference between a ‘lamb’ and a ‘sheep’?
LAMB is a live sheep BEFORE the age of ONE year and without ‘permanent teeth’.
A sheep in its first year is a LAMB and its meat is also called ‘Lamb’. The meat from sheep in their second year is “hogget”. Meat of the older sheep is called “mutton” except in UK and USA and Asian countries, where it is ‘goat meat’ that is called ‘mutton’.
The meat of sheep between 12 and 20 months could also be called “yearling mutton”.
What ALL that information point out is that, there is a definite DIFFERENCE between a “LAMB” and a ‘SHEEP’ and that LAMBS do NOT have ‘horns’.
In Greek also TWO different words are used, where they are concerned in the Bible.
Throughout Chapter 10 of the Gospel of John, where YAHSHUA [Christ] States that HE is the “Good Shepherd” [Verse 11], the Greek word always is “Probaton” (Sheep).
In 1st Peter 1:19 the Greek word ‘Amnos’ is used for “Lamb”, which is a primary word.
In Revelation 5:6 the Greek word is “Arnion”, which is also the one used with regard to the ‘Religious leader’ in Revelation 13:11. Giving the meaning of the word ‘Arnion’, Strong’s concordance even states “Lambkin”, which means a ‘Baby Lamb’.
As pointed out at the beginning of this article, symbolizing this ‘religious leader’, Revelation 13:11 states about a “beast who rises out of the earth”, that is generally referred to as the ‘false prophet’.
But the Verse goes on to state “He had TWO ‘horns’ like a lamb and spoke like a dragon”.
According to the information shown above, ‘Lambs do NOT have horns”.
Then WHAT is going on here?
It is common knowledge that the Book of Revelation is FULL OF ‘SYMBOLS’.
Beginning with the “Description of MAGNIFIED YAHSHUA” that appeared to Yochanon (John) in Chapter One, consistently the word “As” or phrases such as “Appears or Looks Like or Like unto” occur throughout the “Book of Revelation”.
The word translated ‘As’ is the Greek word “hoce” that is found in Verse 3 of this Chapter, with regard to the ‘deadly wound of the first beast’, which was dealt with in the previous article.
The other Greek word translated as “Like unto” or “Looked Like” and so on is “Homoios” or its variants.
Hence WHAT this Verse REALLY states seem to be, “It had two HORNS but LOOKED LIKE (Homoios) a ‘lamb’ and spoke like (hoce) a dragon”.
The two horns could be symbolizing the twofold nature of this creature, ‘mild as a lamb’ BUT ‘ferocious like a dragon’.
Translations use the word ‘He’ in reference to this beast, but the word ‘It’ is in keeping with the ‘sense’ presented in Greek because Yochanon uses the word ‘beast’ (Thayrion) in referring to it from Verse 11 onwards.
Revelation 13:2 & 4 state how the dragon (devil) will give the ‘Coming World Governing Ruler’ authority. Verse 12 states it is THIS ‘Religious Leader’ who will use or implement that ‘authority’, on behalf of the ‘world ruler’.
As he is the religious leader, he uses that authority to make the inhabitants of the EARTH worship the ‘Global leader whose fatal wound had been healed’.
Here it is quite clear that ‘IT’ is an individual that is being worshipped and NOT a ‘system’.
2nd Kings 1:8-15 state how Prophet Elijah brought “Fire down from heaven and destroyed 2 sets of soldiers who came to arrest him”.
Revelation 13:13 states how this religious leader, who is generally known as ‘false prophet’ copies that.
Whereas what Elijah did was seen ONLY by those who were in the area, what this false prophet does would be SEEN by ALL the inhabitants of the ENTIRE WORLD. The Greek word “Enowpion” suggests the meaning, “In ALL encompassing SIGHT”.
Again, THAT was something UNTHINKABLE UNTIL THESE PRESENT TIMES that we live in.
HOW could an uneducated fisherman living 1900 years BACK even visualize something like THAT? The only answer is that “IT was Revealed or Shown to him” by SOME “ALL KNOWING SUPERNATURAL BEING” that we call GOD.
Revelation 13:14 states he commands that an ‘Image to be set up’ in honour of the ‘global ruler’, whose “fatal wound had been healed”. It could possibly be the result of an assassination attempt, which most probably causes his ‘arm and right eye to be dysfunctional’ as stated in Zechariah 11:17.
The Greek word translated as ‘image’ is “Eikona”, which means a “resemblance” or “representation”. It flows from the root word “Eiko” for “Resemblance or Look alike”. This ‘Resemblance’ Yochanon speaks about could assumed to be a “Holograph” or even a ‘Photograph’.
Bear in mind that ‘Photography’ was NOT invented when this Book was written.
The Greek word for an ‘idol’ used in other places in NT writings is ‘Eidolon’, including Revelation 9:20. That word flows from Greek ‘Eidos’ which means “Fashion or shape”.
The important factor that needs to be grasped with regard to this entire Chapter is THIS.
It is NOT some people living in a ‘certain geographical locality’ like a city or country that the false prophet compels to worship this ‘image’.
Verses 12 and 13 amply illustrate that it is the INHABITANTS of the WHOLE WORLD that would be COMPELLED by this religious leader, to worship the ‘Resemblance of the global leader’.
What is stated in Verses 16 and 17 further substantiate the FACT that people of the WHOLE WORLD would be affected, which would be looked at later.
Verse 15 goes onto state this ‘image or resemblance’ CAN SPEAK.
During public events, holographs of deceased artists like Elvis and Michael Jackson singing have been projected. Hence some could assume it must be something similar.
YET it could be something even MORE PERSONAL than that.
But first a huge misconception with regard to the LOCALITY of this holograph or picture or image needs to be RECTIFIED.
Most assume this ‘image’ will be erected or projected ‘inside the Temple’ in Jerusalem.
Those Two Verses do NOT state anything like that. Neither can one find the word ‘Temple’ in this entire Chapter.
As the Believers who lived in the past, MANY STILL could assume that ‘they’ need not worry about ‘not worshipping this image or holograph, as they would NOT even be going to Jerusalem, let alone into the ‘Temple’.
But EVEN the words “Jerusalem or Israel or Judea” do NOT appear IN THIS ENTIRE Chapter.
WHAT IN FACT this WHOLE Chapter INDICATES as pointed out above IS that “ALL the inhabitants of the EARTH would be CONTROLLED by these TWO individuals, EXCEPT for those, WHOSE NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN THE LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE”, as per Verse 8.
Therefore NO ONE is EXEMPT from doing the BIDDING of this religious leader.
Some could ask, ‘HOW could that kind of a process be IMPLEMENTED to COVER the WHOLE world?”
With modern technological capabilities, THAT would be quite simple.
During the recently ‘made up pandemic’, MOST people the world over were MANIPULATED through the media, USING THE ‘FEAR FACTOR’.
THAT could have been a ‘case study’ in order to ASSESS many things.
Something like the ‘following’ could be implemented by this religious leader
At a given time such as ‘6 pm in EVERY country’, this person’s “image” could APPEAR over the billboards, TVs in the homes, personal laptops, tabs and CELL PHONES.
When that happens, it would be MANDATORY FOR EVERYONE using them to respond by DOING a ‘certain act’, like ‘TAKING THE KNEE’ that was PRACTICED before starting various sporting events, in the recent past.
Kings and rulers were paid homage in that manner in the past and certain films have shown how various people USED TO DO THAT before Caesars.
People could be told to SHOW this ACT of ‘their allegiance’ by pressing a certain ‘key’, in their technical appliances.
Even otherwise, those in the ‘control rooms’ in charge of various areas would KNOW ‘WHO did NOT do so’ and what their identities would be, even if their technical appliances are NOT used at those times.
Then in each area, this projected IMAGE would PUBLICLY announce their identities, may even be through the billboards, for the security forces to arrest them.
John could have seen ‘some process’, like that.
Most probably Verse 15 could be stating HOW their executions would be carried out by ‘beheading them’ publicly like ISIS did, as an example to others.
That is the ‘method of execution’ stated in Revelation 20:4.
Everything SEEMS to have been rehearsed ALREADY.
WHY did ISIS ‘BEHEAD’ most of their victims? Did not they have enough ammunition?
WHAT is stated in Revelation 13:16 & 17 could be the best known factor recorded in the “New Testament”, apart from the Birth, Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension of YAHSHUA and as a result, various interpretations have also been given.
It is that people anywhere in the world would NOT be able to ‘buy or sell’ anything UNLESS they have a “Certain ‘mark’ bearing the VALUE of the NAME of the global ruler that adds up to 666”.
Most living up to even 1980s could NOT have even visualized HOW that kind of a scheme could be implemented THE WORLD OVER.
Some even would have thought this would take place ONLY in ‘developed countries’ or in ‘city or urban areas’ of any country and those living in rural areas would not be subjected to this system.
But for us who live in the present days, it is just a routine matter.
During the recent so called ‘pandemic’, one could NOT enter ANY public place WITHOUT the temperature being checked, through a digital thermometer.
THAT apparatus was HELD either near the WRIST or close to the FOREHEAD, most times.
THOSE are the EXACT PLACES of a human being, these Two Verses state that ‘mark would be’.
Hence WHAT WAS DONE THE WORLD OVER seems to be simply a REHEARSAL of WHAT these Verses STATE.
Though it was NOT implemented, the proposal was brought to ‘DENY access to any public place, UNLESS the ‘vaccine card’ was produced.
BUT the time would COME when first ‘they’ would introduce something similar.
Initially a ‘CARD’ might be introduced, BUT as ANY card could get damaged or lost, as time passes they would introduce a so called ‘vaccine’ by which they would implant this ‘mark’ on either of the places these Verses state, without which NO ONE would be able to ENTER ANY public place, meaning supermarkets, malls, sports arenas etc.
The Greek word translated as ‘mark’ is “Karagma”, which really means a “Scratch or an Etching or Branding”.
During Yochanon’s time the words ‘vaccination’ and ‘implant’ did NOT exist. So he had used the word that he could, just like in the rest of this Book.
Even various other Prophets also HAD TO DO SO, in order to Proclaim “What they were Shown, with regard to a future, way beyond their time”.
Revelation 13:18 seems to be MOST misunderstood VERSE in the entire Bible.
In the ancient world the ‘numerical’ figures 1, 2, 3 etc. did NOT exist. Hence some of the letters in the alphabets of the people were given certain numerical values.
Commonly known ones are those used of Latin. Hence many in the past have written the names of known people in Latin and ‘tried to connect them’ with this imposter, the best known cases being that of Nero and much later Hitler.
Others have taken the title ‘Maximum Pontificate’ and presented that as the ‘indication’ given in this Verse. Sadly they overlooked the fact that it is simply a ‘title’ meaning ‘High or Great Priest’ and NOT a NAME of any individual, as this Verse clearly states.
It has been the habit of Jewish People down the centuries to write the NAME of ANYONE in HEBREW and calculate and see, what it would ADD UP TO, as ALL the basic 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet HAVE numerical values.
The first 10 letters of the Hebrew alphabet have the values 1 to 10, the next 8 letters, multiples of 10s such as 20, 30 etc. and the final 4 letters multiples of 100s, ending with the final letter ‘Taw’ [ת] having the value of 400.
Psalms 119 is written using those 22 Letters in their alphabetical order, with each letter having 8 Verses beginning with it. That is why it has 176 Verses = 22 X 8. Even the “Virtues of a Noble Wife” stated in Proverbs 31:10 – 31 are written in that fashion in original Hebrew, having ONE verse for EACH letter.
In the very first Book of the ‘New Testament’ also, a ‘certain number’ is repeated 3 TIMES, that most Christians do NOT seem to notice. It is in Matthew 1:17, “Thus there were 14 generations from Abraham to David, 14 from David to the exile in Babylon and 14 from the exile to the Messiah”.
The numerical value of “DAVID”, when written in Hebrew [דוד] is 14. As Matthew wrote his Book primarily to the Jewish People, he was telling them, “YAHSHUA is the Son of David”, which was considered to be a “Messianic Title” then [Mark 10: 46, 47], as well as now.
Hence IN the FIRST Book of the ‘New Testament’ the VALUE of a “Messianic Title” is given as 14, 14, 14 and in the LAST Book an indication, called “remez” in Hebrew, is given regarding ‘the name of this imposter’.
The Verse goes onto state that anyone who has the ‘capability’, would be able to identify him, as the name would add up to ‘six hundred and sixty six’.
What Yochanon obviously meant was “when written in Hebrew” it would add upto that number. What he does NOT state is whether it is this person’s full name or the one by which he would be commonly known.
All the same THAT entire process would be implemented by this ‘Coming Religious Leader’, AFTER the ‘Governing Ruler’ comes into power.
As the ‘Global Leader’ has NOT taken over YET, no one need be unduly apprehensive at present.
But it is IMPERATIVE to be “Alert and Watchful”, as Adonai YAHSHUA HIMSELF WARNED.
